The Teachings of the Buddha

This book was first published by Subang Jaya Buddhist Association to serve as an easy study text for their members who were keen to know more about the Dhamma in a systematic manner. This edition is actually a compilation of the literary works of four teachers. A major part of this edition is taking from the book, THE BUDDHA AND HIS TEACHINGS by the late Venerable Narada Maha Thera. The first two chapters are from THE GREAT CHRONICLES OF BUDDHAS by the late Venerable Mingun Sayadaw Bhaddanta Vicittasarabhivamsa of Myanmar. The chapter on THE SPIRITUAL PATH is adapted from the book, THE FUNDAMENTALS OF BUDDHISM by Sayadaw U Silananda. While the APPENDIX FIVE is adapted from TREASURE OF THE DHAMMA, by Venerable Dr. K. Sri Dhammananda.
